Why Cardio Kickboxing?

Cardio kickboxing is a high-intensity workout that combines elements of boxing, martial arts and techniques with fast-paced cardio to upbeat music. 

BENEFITS

INCREASE STRENGTH & TONE BODY

Kickboxing requires strong movements of upper (shoulder arms, and back), lower (legs and butt) and core (abs) muscles. Increased use of these muscles helps them tone and take shape!

 

LEARN SELF-DEFENSE

Participants can use punches, kicks, and combos elements they learn from this martial-arts-inspired workout to potentially defend themselves.  This real-life application sets kickboxing apart from other fitness workouts.  

BUILD YOURSELF

FULL-BODY WORKOUT

Workouts require the use of arms and legs for punches and kicks.  However, it takes the entire body to create force and add power to each movement.

WEIGHT LOSS

Kickboxing provides an aerobic calorie-burning workout. Participants are constantly in motion during this workout, which means your heart rate is raised throughout the session. This can result in a burn of up to 1,000 calories per class! 

SELF-PACED

Workouts can be modified for beginners to the more skilled. Members can move at their own pace or add more force when ready to increase the intensity during workouts.

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS

Attending group classes can be a great way to build community as you workout.   Motivation from peers can help you stay focused and accountable.   Support from each other can help you stay on track to reach your fitness goals!

Our Instructor

A certified personal trainer, Shaun has trained at several elite fitness studios and gyms within metro Atlanta. With over 23 years personal training experience, he has utilized his background in martial arts and bodybuilding to train clients of various levels from novice to professional athletes. Shaun also uses his knowledge to create personalized workouts that improve his client’s quality of life by increasing their strength, balance, cardio fitness and flexibility.
